Our research is characterized by the integration of a primarily corpus-based, crosslinguistic focus with psycho- and neurolinguistic approaches. The creation of research data and their sustainable management, storage and dissemination are thus of central importance to SSLAC, and we can draw on a large number of (audio-)visual and written corpora of natural language use as well as state-of-the art experimental resources.
This research infrastructure was created, maintained and updated over the course of numerous infrastructure projects, in cooperation with the University of Cologne’s Data Center for the Humanities (DCH), the Regional Computing Centre (RRZK) and the Cologne Competence Center for Research Data Management (C³RDM).
